We are human beings. We have a collective and individual human experience. They are the gifts of being cognitive, sentient beings.We must use our individual human experience as the crucible in which to test faith.
In Life, we put our faith in many people who ultimately fail us. We usually learn from those mistakes, and the smart ones among us, try not to repeat them.
We must do the same with our faith in ideas. We must test them in the crucible of human experience, and reject those which fail us in any way.
