How to Control Anxiety

Anxiety is the opposite of tranquility. Anxiety can be controlled in two ways.

It can be fought head-on with meditation and/or rationalization. We can talk ourselves out of our anxiety with a rational thinking process to show that our fears are unfounded. Most anxious fears are unfounded. Worry never produces anything.

The other way to fight anxiety, is complete distraction. Exercising our bodies will eliminate anxiety. Reading a good book or some sort of activity will relieve anxiety. Talking with other people will relieve anxiety.

When anxious thoughts persist, the best thing to do, is to move the body and interact with other people.
